Description
Designed by Kazumasu Takagi, this is the 3rd generation of the popular “Z” cars, begun with the 240Z. Designated as the "Z31" 300ZX it featured improved aerodynamics and increased power when compared to the 280ZX. The new, streamlined body had a drag coefficient of 0. 30 and the car was powered by Japan’s first mass-produced V6 engine, instead of an inline 6 that was typically used.
This is one of the first generation Z31's and in two-tone paintwork, extremely rare. Indeed, when was the last time you saw one on the road?
With just over 44, 600 miles from new, this particular car presents in fantastic original condition, both inside and out. The car drives superbly and with the 4 speed auto with electronic overdrive, makes for a fabulous GT coupe.
As part of the pre-sale preparation, the original alloy wheels were professionally refurbished and fitted with brand new Avon ZV7 tyres all round.
For those with a soft spot for 80s sports cars, then its two-tone paintwork, removable targa-tops, pop-up headlights and velour cloth interior, must tick all the boxes!
