This car was probably imported from Germany to the Netherlands on 08/ 23/ 1963.
This mid-sized car was sold for 4, 000 to 6, 000 Reichsmarks and was mainly supplied as a four-door limousine or convertible. Commercial vehicles built on the same chassis also sold well.
In early 1936 the 170V (W136) was presented. The V in this case stands for "Vorn" (German for front, where the engine was located). The 170V had a four-cylinder side-valve engine with rear-wheel drive and a four-speed gearbox. Although the capacity (1. 7 liters) was the same as that of its predecessor, this engine was considerably more powerful. The output was 38 hp (28 kW), at 3, 400 rpm, the fuel consumption was about 1:10.
This Mercedes has been restored in the past and as an older restoration is still in a very nice condition, according to the Fehac quality indication between 1-5 this is a 2-. The appraised value is described as 35, 000 euros. dd. 09-01-2019.
The Benz is equipped with Firestone tires 550-16 de luxe champion with White Walls 63mm, a retro car radio, custom indicators, new 6 volt battery. There is also a built-in immobilizer. The carburettor has recently been overhauled, invoice is present.
The interior is in an original and almost perfect condition, the paint is in excellent condition with no rust or scratches. The chrome on and on the car is also in excellent condition.
The Mercedes also comes with an original manual in German and a technical manual in Dutch. There is also a “date card” of the DAVC.
