Interesting and rare 1971 Morris/ Austin van for restoration. Has an Austin badge and front grill. Driven just under 73K miles.
Was used for a short commute to ‘Clevedon Craft Centre’ on a daily basis for about 25 years until 2010- when it’s previous owner passed.
I purchased it in about 2011, saving it from a life as a chicken shed. Due to ill health have not been able to restore.
Original engine 1098cc was running last time the battery was attached. Been stored in a dry garage the past 10 years.
Chassis needs replacing due to rust. ** Have a BRAND NEW galvanised chassis made by Alex Wills being sold separately for £1800 but will consider offers for Van and Chassis.**
Requires new gear box 1st gear not working. A 2nd hand replacement gear box is included but not been installed.
Included are replacement doors as originals rusted.
Rust is the main problem in various places on body work. Have included as many photos as possible.
Chairs are not original nor are the wing mirrors.
No MOT or tax required due to it’s ‘vintage’ status.
