I have for sale my lovely austin badge morris 1000 van. It has been extensively restored by JK classics of Lincoln. It has had numerous new parts including an up-rated 1098cc unleaded engine, radiator, fan, brake pipes and drums, detailed engine bay, loom battery the list goes on and on, If you go on to their facebook page and scroll down their restoration images it details the vans various stages of restoration. The austin badged van is identical to the morris 1000 van other than the front grill and the badge itself.
i had intended to use it as a marketing tool for my vinyl record business but due to a health issue i have to curtail my plans.
Since having the van i have fitted electric window wipers, fitted a new front bumper and replaced the majority of the chrome work. The van has is ready for signage if required no lettering to be removed.
As you can see it is in superb condition inside and out, the interior has been completely boarded out and has a period extinguisher fitted. The only issue i have is a very small oil leak which i think is coming from the oil sump so not a big job just a sump gasket needed fitting which i have ready to replace, but what morris minor does not lose a drop of oil.
A superb van is very close to show standard and must be one of the best around it would make a great advertising tool for a business as i had planned. The v5 is present in my name, please no offers, part exchanges or swaps, the van will only be released after payment is cleared. The van is currently on a Sorn due to lack of use, historic class so no road tax or mot required. We are situated on the West coast of Scotland just outside Ayr.
