This lovely Anglia has just arrived with us. First registered in Leeds on 1st July 1963 to its first lady owner. She kept the car and cared for it meticulously for 50 years. It is believed that it was laid up for some time during her ownership. There is a typed history in file confirming mileage as correct at just over 38000. The second owner a gentleman in Hereford acquired it in November 2013 and set about a minor restoration and repaint. The Anglia does not appear to have been welded at all and has its original steel wings etc. It was then passed to its 3rd owner 3 years later in Cumbria. We believe it passed to a 4th owner as the gentleman we bought it from has only owned it since June this year. It is presented in fabulous condition, the interior is time warp, even the original rubber matting is in place. The bodywork is presented very nicely and she drives very well. Mechanical work includes new fuel pump, recon carb, dynamo and battery. The history file contains the original handbook, workshop manual, lots of old mots and bills etc for works carried out. The current mot is valid until June 2022. If you are in the market for a nice original Anglia, this example will be worth viewing.
