Kick-starting the BMW’s now-famous Motorsport Division into life, the M635 CSi offered peerless performance for its day and was the first real practical car to wear the M badge. Introduced in 1983, only 524 M635 models were ever produced in RHD and as a result values remain significantly higher than non M-Sport coupes - and rightly so, given the specialist nature of the M635CSi.
This beautiful, last of the line example was first registered in April 1990 and is finished in the favourable combination of Royal Blue Metallic with contrasting beige leather interior. Presenting in exceptional order, structurally the car is solid and mechanically it appears in very good order too.
Supplied with the car is the huge history file, consisting of two folders with every single invoice for maintenance and servicing meticulously arranged in date order. In addition to the maintenance invoice history which dates from 1990 through to 2019, a fully stamped service book from new, all MOTs, original handbooks, wallet, original tools and period Blaupunkt radio are also still present.
