A Targa model has featured in the 911 line-up since 1967, but for the 993, Porsche introduced an updated version of the popular open-air variant. Instead of manually removing the roof section, the 1996 model saw the introduction of an all-electric sliding glass panel to bring the outside in; perfect for a sunny day. When the weather’s not so great, close the roof and sunblind and you’re immediately back in cosy coupe territory.
Delivered in March 1997 by Evans Halshaw, Official Porsche Centre at Stourbridge, optioned in Ocean blue metallic.
