1952 Norton Model 7 Dominator. Plunger model.
Fully restored by retired engineer to a very high standard and ridden less than 100 miles since. Starts and runs beautifully. New big end, bearings, pistons, cam followers, valves and valve springs. Tank and wheel rims are finished to a very high standard with pin striping.
The Norton has its original transferable registration number although I hope it will continue to stay on the bike. I’ve called the Norton ‘Maxwell’ because of its reg MXW number.
The bike has been kept indoors in a temperature controlled room throughout my ownership. Was kept with no fuel in the tank. I have just changed the oil and fit a new battery.
The bike is a real beauty and a great rider.
Comes with 2 folders. One is full of receipts from the bike’s restoration - there are many - plus the V5 and the old buff log book. It also includes a genuine spare parts book (illustrated) and a workshop manual. The second folder is full of period advertisements and roads tests.
Reluctant sale due to illness.
