This excellent little Ford Popular was first registered on 9th December 1960, and according to the V5C has had only 7 previous keepers. Furthermore, from what we can see from the MOT history, it has covered only 79, 000 miles from new. We acquired this car for a good friend and regular customer around three and a half years ago, and the only reason it is for sale now is that he has now purchased a larger Ford Consul. This very well presented example has obviously been the subject of extensive restoration in previous years, and has been well maintained since. The bodywork, structure and paintwork are all good and the recently re-trimmed interior is excellent. The car drives well, with a nice 3-speed gearbox and runs along without any nasty mechanical noises. This would make a very good first classic, show car or even everyday user. Nice and simple to maintain and with a good car club (the Ford Side-Valve Owners’ Club) for support. Comes with good MOT history, V5C, manual and handbook.
