Released in 1973 the XJ Series 2 was a face-lifted version of the earlier Series 1 and was the last Jaguar saloon to have input from founder Sir William Lyons. This particular example is a rare Australian delivered 1973 build Jan '74 complied Short Wheelbase, production of the SWB would end in 1974. The subject of an extensive 2 year restoration, this particular example now features a 4 speed Laycock de Normanville manual overdrive transmission. Finished in stunning red other upgrades include: Jaguar XJ series 3 grille, series 3 front seats, rear headrests, auxiliary cooling fan, manual SU choke, new alloy centre console, Hella halogen lights with long range driving lights and TWR rear spoiler among other items.
