The homologated high-performance Datsun Fairlady Z432. Manufactured as a factory special vehicle that exploded onto the market to catapult Nissans previous Z success in motorsport to new levels.
Fitted with the S20 engine, an inline 6-cylinder 4-valve DOHC is used from that of the third generation Skyline 2000GT-R (PGC10).
The “Z432” was named so for its four valves per cylinder, three carburettors, and two camshafts.
The standard equipment included a limited-slip differential and magnesium wheels for what was the flagship model and ultimate ‘Z’ car.
Production numbers were limited to 419 units and each were available exclusively for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). Priced in period at 1. 85 million yen, a figure double that of the next 240Z model.
Sourced from a private collector in Japan in 2017 and currently registered here in the UK, where it forms part of another exclusive private collection.
