Time to let some cars out of captivity. I have about 16Alvis TD21, seris 1 ad 2 saloons, all in need of restoration. Some are complete, some missing engine or gearbox or both, some are running but none are roadworthy. Priced from £2000 to £10, 000 depending on condition.
If you are considering a project, these cars are worth thinking about. Most parts are readily available, mechanically they are quite straightforward. They have a seperate chassis and conventional suspension with hydraulic brakes. The bodywork however is rather more challenging. These are coachbuilt cars with structural timber framing and plenty of scope for rot of all types. I have plenty of experience myself of these cars and can give sound advice to any would - be purchases, I have some very rough examples lying around which illustrate what not to buy and how they are put together and where they rot.
