2000 “W” RANGE ROVER 4. 6 VOGUE
Fresh into stock is this beautiful java black p38 previously supplied by us, as most of our clients and contacts will know we have a strong affiliation towards RRC but not p38 as generally speaking I find them too complicated and problematic!! We were happy to sell this one as it was an exception to the rule, a great driving car which we later discovered had a very expensive engine rebuild a few years prior by local well respected Land Rover specialist, so much so that he was disappointed to have not bought the car back himself !
Cosmetically the car is in the same excellent condition as when we sold it last year save for the fact that it has had all the alloy wheels professionally powder coated since.
In the last year he has attended to many little niggly jobs some necessary and some not to make for a wonderful overall vehicle, these jobs have consisted of the following:
New battery
EAS valve block overhauled
EAS Air dryer refurbished
EAS compressor overhauled
Offside front and rear springs replaced
Nearside front and rear height sensors replaced
New steering damper
New front ABS sensors (nearside and offside)
Rear propshaft UJ’s replaced
New rear brake discs and pads
Cruise control vacuum line replaced
Sunroof seal replaced
Remote RF module interface installed
Both front heated seat elements replaced
HEVAC lamps replaced
Major service including replacement of engine oil, gearbox and transfer box drained, flushed and replacement oil, front and rear diffs drained also along with fresh oil. OIL filter, air filter, pollen filter, new spark plugs.
Steering wheel professionally retrimmed
New column stalk for wiper
The vehicle has covered 139000 miles and has been maintained without regard for cost as outlined above and certainly far better than car with a fraction of the mileage.
This is a very sensible way into P38 ownership and represents great opportunity to purchase a vehicle at excellent value for money that has already had significant expenditure to make for a great driving, reliable proposition .
