This is an original 1979 Honda CB750 10th Anniversary in the two tone Candy Muse red with red used for this Limited Edition bike along with the "10th Anniversary 750K" side cover emblem in gold and green. It is one of the first 1000 of the CB750 10th anniversary models made for the U. S with only 5000 being made in total to commemorate the ten years’ of Honda’s success with the nameplate.
The key difference of this ltd edition is the inclusion of a dual-overhead camshaft, instead of the standard’s single cam head. Just like several engines of its time, this model came from the factory air-cooled, carbureted and with a relatively low red line of just 9, 500—well, relative to modern-day standards. Bikes like this laid the groundwork for some of Honda’s most celebrated modern ones like the CB650R and the CB1000R and this model is one of the more collectible ones out there.
This lovely Classic is showing just 6, 784 miles from new and runs well and is of course tax and MOT exempt. The carburettors have been ultrasonically cleaned and new jets fitted by our on site mechanic.
