Finished in the rare factory metallic Epsom Green (possibly the most sought after colour combination) with original factory ‘COUNTY’ decals. 100 % Totally original condition having never been painted or messed. The condition can only be described as beautiful and still retains its factory deep shine.
Fitted with 5 original Land Rover steel wheels with excellent tyres all round, not to forget the ever so important tow bar with electrics.
Inside the interior boasts the original Moorland cloth trim seats (3 seats in front, 3 seats in middle row seats and 2 three-man bench seats to the rear) which are presented in excellent condition. 100 % original interior including the original carpets & radio cassette player!
Out on the road, it is no surprise that it drives superb with no unusual knocks, bangs or whines. The much improved 300 Tdi engine delivers smooth power with great economy and proven reliability. The 300 tdi engine is considered by so many to be the best engine Land Rover ever made!
The bulkhead, foot wheels & chassis (frame) are all in fantastic condition having been waxoyld regularly since new showing no evidence of any weld/ repairs and is one of the nicest we have seen on a classic Defender.
The spec of this Defender is totally original and unmolested, unlike so many others out there, just as it left the production line 28 years ago.
This is a very hard to find, unspoilt example.
All in all, this is a genuine much-loved Defender in beautiful original condition which Cleary appears to have had a very easy life. Not to be confused with the usual ‘worked’ examples out there.
Land Rover have ceased production of the legendary Defender since 2015 so prices of Defenders are rapidly rising and a great investment especially the much sought after 300 Tdi.
