Selling my MG ZS 180 project car. Came off the road 6 months ago due to the engine disintegrating - and I attempted to change the engine myself which stall. Now getting evicted, so need to shift this project. Everything needed except the exhaust manifold comes with the car, so it should be straightforward for anyone interested. Car is NOT safe to drive or tow behind a car - will need to be taken away on a flatbed. Car is SORN and without MOT, but still has V5 and some service history.
The replacement engine (which is in the car, but needs to be installed properly) is from a ZT190, with around 50, 000 miles. It has been fitted to the original ZS180 gearbox and single mass flywheel along with a new friction plate.
Everything needed to finish the project is included with the exception of the exhaust manifold - which the scrappy took when I wasn't looking when I sold the busted engine. Original cat and stainless cat-back exhaust still remains along with gaskets. Additionally a KV6 timing kit, ZT190 timing adapters (hard to find!), new timing belt and water pump, new NGK Iridium spark plugs, new oil filter, and new fully synthetic oil and coolant will be included as well. There are some additional parts in the car that are included as well - original ZT dual mass flywheel, ZT aluminium cover plate, ZT oil-water heat exchanger, etc.
£800 ono. Looking for someone to take the whole car as one - ideally someone who will get it back in working order (and send me a video!).
800 is a good deal for this amount of parts - can easily make much more than that parting out what is in the car, but I don't have the time at the moment to do so - so not looking to negotiate.
