Reluctant sale of my recently acquired Baleno GSR.
Already a rare car, these were limited edition cars sold at the end of Baleno sales (for this particular generation) in the UK.
1. 8 120hp DOHC engine.
I had hoped to keep this but as reality bites with a likely house move, and the fact I'm already smitten with my other hobby car, I can't make the math work to keep this one.
Comfortable seats, nice performance and no major issues noted in the time I've owned it and driven it.
Some defects, there are several marks on the car and the driver side door has some rust breaking through at the bottom. On the flip side, the sills seem solid, as does the whole underneath. The paint has suffered on the roof, likely being due to the car living in the south it's entire life.
There is a rattle from the front over bumps, but nothing when on faster roads.
Slow (albeit not very slow) puncture on one rear tyre.
No history but a lot of bits look new, the radiator and alternator belt and pulley for example, and the oil seems clean with all fluid levels looking healthy, so it's been looked after.
I'd prefer a sale but am open to a swap of sensible nature. I'm partial to French and Italian cars, if that helps as a guide to swaps, but I must stress sensible.
Car is still being used.
