This is a beautiful example of the pre-facelift E39 M5 with its naturally aspirated 4. 9 litre V8 producing 400bhp and oodles of torque.
Whilst this cherished specimen has a handful of age-related, very minor blemishes that you would expect of a 22 year old car, it is in truly remarkable condition with excellent bodywork and a very impressive black leather interior with Titan trim. The service book shows that this car has been well cared for, with 14 stamps in the service book, the last being a full Inspection 2 service by Redish Motorsport at 121, 184 miles in January 2021, around 2000 miles ago. It has had 5 previous owners, the last of which had it for 9 years.
No car of this age is completely rust free but you will struggle to find any here and the professionally-applied underseal is in fantastic condition. I can see no evidence of any leaks; it has a new stainless steel, Longlife exhaust; the alloy wheels are in great condition; and all tyres have c7mm tread. As well as all the usual top of the range M5 features, this car also benefits from a new Double Din Sony head unit (including Sat Nav facility) with OEM look surround, upgraded angel eye headlights, aftermarket LED rear lights, facelift steering wheel, new alternator, new battery and rear PDC. An air con service and a professional paint enhancement detail were both completed in Summer 2021.
The car is, of course, 100% HPI clear. The original ICE and a pair of facelift rear lights are available with the car. I am selling it because I am trying to reduce the number of cars that I own and, therefore, I am sorry that I cannot accept a part exchange (I am not a trader).
The average price of these M5's is now approaching £30k. Those around this car's mileage have asking prices around £25k. However, despite the outstanding condition of my car, I am being much more realistic.
