This Jaguar XJ220
This Jaguar XJ220 was delivered to its first owner, Mr. J. van de Windt from Schilde, Belgium on 18th March 1993 through Jaguar Sport Ltd. The first owner used the car as it was intended as can be seen in the servicebook. It’s first service was carried out with Jaguar Antwerp in June 1993. The car had driven 1. 553 kilometers. The next service was in the same year, December 1993 at 4. 968 kilometers. The third service was carried out at Jaguar Sport Ltd. in Great-Brittain at 6. 321 kilometers in April 1994. In November 1994 the car was seen again at Jaguar Antwerp at 9. 061 kilometers. In 1998 the car was acquired by the second owner. He drove the car until 2006. At that moment it had driven 17. 022 kilometers. At that moment it was stored. Last year the car was brought back to life and the owner spent over 70. 000 EUR. Work carried out includes the 6 year service to include removal of engine and transmission, replacement timing belts, filters, spark plugs, new fuel cell, transmission service kit, new gaskets and seals, new clutch, new brakes, timing belts, ECU, et cetera. The car is still fitted with its original tires, but if a new custodian intends to drive the car we will replace the tires.
The car is exactly in the same specification as how it left the factory in Spa Silver with seats in Smoke leather (dark grey) and carpets in Smoke (dark grey). The car is complete with the original brochure, lots of press information and photographs, factory documents, the 1:12 Maisto car model and obviously the original books and tools.
