1. Subject to an older light restoration by a previous owner, presents really well, paint work and interior excellent. nearly new mitchalin tyres all round. good exhaust, clutch, gearbox good, smooth engine, no leaks
2. Just had a major engine service, new engine oil, oil and air filter, plugs.
3. Brand new replacement radiator, thermostat and fan sensor switch, alternator belt.
4. Engine flushed and replaced coolant with red ford coolant.
5. Very soiid underneath. Very little wear to be found inside or outside the car.
6. x3 keys, original ford radio, factory sunroof and factory immobiliser alarm.
I recently purchased the car from the executors of the previous lady owner who bought the car in 2015 and only drove it a few hundred miles before garaging it. Unfortunately the history file was lost as the lady went into residential care and the documentary file could not be found.
7. Currently SORN, last MOT 2017 at 44200 miles no advisories. Intending to submit it for an MOT prior to selling. Car requires x2 new headlights for this but as of now I have been unable to source RHD replacements.
This car is not concourse but is an exceptionally good example and would suit anyone serious about entering into the world of classic retro Fords or 80's mildly hot hatches without the XR2 price tag. Note: Genuine interest and enquiries welcomed by a genuine honest seller. I mention this only as someone has already tried to scam me for the car. Claimed to have authorized payment, booked an MOT, insured it and had transport on the way. However it was a brazen attempted transparent con. So no money no car are the terms and conditions of sale.
