Description

Fine Car Co is selling at auction this 1971 Triumph Stag.

The ‘Stag’ name was a development codename allocated when the design project was initiated by Giovanni Michelotti in 1965. Harry Webster the chief engineer at Triumph was seduced by his friend's model and decided to launch it into production in 1970.
None of the subsequent names suggested through the process were ever deemed more compelling. Still today the Triumph Stag still occupies one of the cornerstones of the collector’s car market. The slender & elegant Michelotti styling married to decadent V8 power makes it both beautiful to look at and enormous fun to drive, add to that a thriving club network these cars make for hugely desirable ownership.

Beautifully restored in 2017 by a Stag enthusiast* and ready to be enjoyed.

Presented in White, with Tan Leather interior.

3 Litre V8 Petrol.

Automatic.

* New Mohair hood and frame.

* Money spent underneath, looks brand new.

Dry storage for 3 years after the restoration.
