Car has been undercoated and where it is flaking off you can see the original red paint. There is some rust on the car but from what I have seen it is all in flat areas easily repaired with a patch rather than needing repair panels or difficult welding
Car started easy and yard drove well.
Previous owner had the car two years and was a project for him and his dad. He used the car regularly and decided to sell it to purchase a modern vehicle
From the factory a U code 6 cyl, 1965 Falcon V8 engine, spindles and rear axle were sourced and installed to make this a very clean V8 conversion (seller told me the origin of the conversion parts) Alloy intake and 4bbl carb installed along with a fair few other new parts. I have the receipt for these
Torque thrust wheels were added by the previous owner
Seller told me the trans had been slipping and he added trans fluid before I had it collected. I yard drove it and it drove up on the hauliers truck fine so maybe it was just a leak causing it to slip.
I have attached a ton of top as well as underside photos so you can see the condition of the body. I felt it was in quite solid shape and had it been a mess I would not have purchased it.
