Here at Old Colonel Cars, The Classic and Performance Car Agency, we are lucky to have this absolutely immaculate and rare BMW E30 325i Mtech1 Manual Convertible.
This August 1989 example has covered 115, 000 miles in the hands of only 3 owners. The current owner purchased this car from me in 2016. Already an excellent, original and rust free example, he wanted the very best. So he took this car with him to Denmark (Dry stored), then Germany (Again Dry stored), which is where he went through the car to get it to the standards we have today.
The paintwork was original, but the laquer had gone in a few minor places. Being a self confessed perfectionist, he had the car repainted to very high standard, the finish is excellent. Whilst there, the kit was taken off and the bodywork re – protected, so underneath is just as good and just as original.
On top of this the following service work was completed ;
The original sport suspension was replaced with the equivalent Eibach Coils / Bilstein B6 shocks (both for OEM MSport ride and stance)
New discs and pads all round
Victor MSport steering wheel (2nd hand)
Leather refurbishment
New quality German roof and gas struts
New timing belt
New battery
New ignition leads
Full refurbishment and respray of wheels
New Uniroyal Rain Sports
New wheel, boot and bonnet decals
New rear brake pipes
Full recommission service by German BMW specialist including brake system, new oil diff and gearbox, Mollie preparations etc, etc.
The car was then driven back to the UK to go into storage here. This car drives and performs perfectly, the suspension / brakes / engine performing perfectly.
The bodywork is in outstanding condition, no dings or dents, no rust, all ready to show.
Inside is just as nice, full Black sports leather in excellent condition, a perfect dash, new roof etc.
This car comes with fully documented service history, all the original manual, original fully stamped service book.
MOT just done. It had one advisory which was quickly dealt with, rear brake pipe replaced.
They really don’t come up better than this , its and excellent example.
