Ducati Paso 907 Ie for sale in Sheffield
About This Bike
Steel City Classics has just acquired a brilliant Ducati Paso 907 IE. Designed by renowned Massimo Tamburini and named after road racer Renzo Pasolini, the Paso was originally released in 1987 as a fully faired, air cooled 750cc bike with 16 inch wheels.
It was 1990 by the time the 907IE (904cc) was introduced. The 907 replaced the 906 and featured Weber-Marelli fuel injection. This 1992 bike was the final production year for the Paso which featured a more comfortable seat, larger front discs and Brembo Goldline calipers.
Ducati was limping badly with its line of models, when Claudio first discussed with Massimo the creation of a model that would radically refresh the company's image, starting with a breathtaking design, the Massimo Tamburini way.
The bike would be called Paso, to honour the Aermacchi/ Harley-Davidson champion Renzo Pasolini, who died in a terrible crash on the first lap of the 1973 Italian 350 Grand Prix at Monza.
