Nice and sporty Ford Escort MK2 2. 0 RS Spec 2 door. A very early MK2 (build march 1975) which started his life as an 1100L. What makes this car special, is that this is a heavy duty body shell. With all the RS strengthening plates, as well a stone guard.
Is has a rs2000 pinto 2. 0 engine fitted with a 4 speed gearbox, smoor minilight 7J 13” wheels, 1/ 4 front bumpers, sport steeringwheel, kamei front spoiler and group 1 striping etc.
The interior is very nice for the age.
The body is also not to bad, the rear wheel arches start to bubble a bit, it had new front wings in the past. The rest of the panels look original.
The paintwork is ok, but not perfect.
The car stood still since 2003. The engine runs, but before you could use it on the street I would recommend a good service first.
The car only has 2 previous owners (father and son) and all the manuals and books are still with the car.
Ideal car to covert to RS or rally car. But it’s no shame to use it as it is.
