1986 vw t25 doka gti
Mk 3 gti swap. We are the second owners of this truck which is only on 43, 378 original miles.
Has had all the major rust cut out and original panels welded back in
Still need a little bit of work to be perfect, the front valance needs attention in the future as well as the bottom of the drivers door but apart from those two spots the truck has been fully welded, we have taken out the original 1. 9 petrol engine and replaced it with a Mk3 golf gti engine which makes the truck lovely to drive as well as being fuel efficient.
We also have put in rear windows in the back but we still have the factory original inserts which could be put back in. The truck has had a rear bench seat fitted with seatbelts allowing it to seat five passengers.
The wheels are 15inc Mefro’s with AT tyres. We have also fitted new headlights which have allowed modern bulbs to be fitted.
MOT until October has been used daily all of this year.
