Very good condition. Still having its 4-cyl. 1131cc/ 25hp and still running on its original 6 Volts system. The car also has its period correct Bekker valve radio, same as fitted to the Porsche 356 in period. Everything works as it should, including the semaphores. This is a very usable classic car that can keep up with modern traffic. Turns lots of heads when it goes out. Believed to be the only LHD Zwitter in SA. This car has a solid body and floors and has NO rust. As can be seen in the pictures.
The ZWITTER is very rare and was produced for one year only during the transition between Split Window and Oval window Beetles and have very unique features and Beetle firsts.
These rare ZWITTER models are now considered to be the most desirable, as the final Evolution of Split Beetles and one year only build. Not many survive today.
The Rare Beetles and Karmann Ghia cars becoming a great alternative to the very expensive Porsche 356 models, as they have a great aircooled allure to enthusiasts and collectors.
