Ford Cortina MK1 Estate fitted with 2. 0 Zetec and 5 Speed box. Very well sorted old car which i have owned personally on and off for the last 15 years. It started life as a 1500, I converted it to a pinto and then a later owner did the zetec conversion on it. It drives really well and the last owner used it a fair bit. You could jump into this and drive it anywhere.
Body - Mk1 Cortina Estate shell which was painted about 15 plus years ago and still looks very good. Couple of very minor bubbles appearing but overall still looks great. All chrome strips are in place and good order. Very solid car only ever had a couple of minor repairs underneath in its lifetime. Car attracts lots of attention as its a bit different being the estate. Quarter bumpers fitted to the front, Lotus look grille, Rear wiper fitted
Mechanics - 2. 0 Zetec with BDA Rocker Cover, Retro Ford conversion kit, 5 Speed type 9 gearbox, custom prop, custom exhaust, weber carb, tramp bars, LSD with 3. 54 diff, gaz rear shocks, samco hoses, steering rack conversion, rs2000 adjustable track control arms, front coilovers with vented discs, strut tops modified for extra camber. phone charge socket fitted. Nodiz ECU
Interior - Standard seats, new carpet about 2 years ago, aldridge door cards, original good headlining. Driver seat could do with a repair on the side but otherwise very tidy inside. Aftermarket guages fitted which all work.
Wheels - Lotus steels with good 185/ 60/ 13 Tyres
This car has been well sorted over the years and drives very well is extremely reliable and pretty quick as well as being as cool as penguins pee....
