2005 New Beetle Dark Flint Cabriolet. One of the 250 Dark Flint special editions made for the UK, of which there are around 130 left.
1. 6L manual. 77, 700 miles, MOT to November 2022. Full service history. Leather interior, aircon, reversing sensors, CD and 6 CD changer.
I've had this for 4 years and it's a lovely example that's been pampered in my ownership and wants for very little.
I've done the following:
- New suspension all round - quality Sachs shocks / mounts front and rear, plus new front wishbones
- 25mm lower Eibach springs (original springs come with car)
- New steering rack
- New exhaust
- Any minor rust removed and sills Waxolyed
Last full service at 75, 000 miles included:
- New pads and discs all round
- New genuine VW water pump
- New genuine VW belts and tensioner
- New spark plugs
- New VW air filter
- New oil and VW oil filter
- New battery
I've also fitted:
- New genuine VW front and rear badges
- Porsche Fuchs-style alloy wheels (personally imported from Brazil) shod with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres
Car comes with:
- Original hood cover
- Original VW wind deflector with bag
- Original alloy wheels
No warning lights. Original hood is in good condition and fully working. All windows work, aircon works. Doors and locks work (passenger door actuator replaced this year). Radio / CD and CD changer all work.
Mirrors wrapped in silver and overall bodywork is good – couple of scuffs on front bumper and one on rear bumper.
Two keys and registered in my name.
The private plate does not come with the sale – it will revert to its original 05 registration.
