Beschreibung
We are pleased to offer this very pretty 1934 MG PA.
The car is extremely smart and well finished in Dublin Green with contrasting Ulster Green bonnet top and wings. The dark red interior goes well with this.
The PA is in excellent condition, starts readily, shows good oil pressure and is very enjoyable to drive with first class steering and handling. It is in standard condition save for the substitution of hydraulic brakes. It sits on a new set of Blockley tyres and has been fitted with a new battery. We have also overhauled the water pump.
The car comes with an extensive history file and has been authenticated as a genuine PA by the MMM Register of the MG Car Club with the Register Inspection Record on file.
It was originally delivered to a Mr L. A. Carrigher by Colmore Depot Ltd of Liverpool. It had three further owners before being exported to Jersey in 1993 where the car was to remain until 2015 when kit was brought back to the UK and reunited with its original registration mark.
There is a large number of receipts for work done on the car while in Jersey where it was clearly looked after very well. There is also an illustrated parts list, wiring diagram and lubrication chart.
Period details so typical of a 1930s MG abound on the PA such as comprehensive instrumentation in octagonal settings, aero screens, a remote gear change, prominent rev counter, headlamp stone guards and a passenger grab handle. Our car also sports a windscreen mounted spot lamp.
Whilst there is a hood frame, there isn’t a hood which has unfortunately gone missing.
Overall a very nice example of a genuine PA which is ready to enjoy in VSCC and MGCC events.
We would consider taking an interesting classic vehicle in part exchange.
