Beschreibung
With approximately 180 RHD units produced from a production total of 633 cars Worldwide, the SL60 AMG model were one of the rarest Mercedes-Benz ever produced. In production between September 1993 to December 1998 they were a ‘pre merger’ model, before Mercedes-Benz bought AMG. The SL60’s were produced by the factory as partly built SL500’s only to be modified & completed by AMG to produce 375bhp from an enlarged 5. 98 litre V8 engine. This particular SL60 was registered in April 1997, therefore quite a late example of this iconic & rare R129. With a comprehensive history file of receipts from works carried out, & a well stamped service history booklet showing stamps from only Mercedes-Benz main dealers & marque specialists, this SL60 has been extremely well cared for. Finished in Brilliant Silver metallic paintwork (744) with contrasting Black Nappa leather interior this R129 SL60 AMG presents superbly throughout and truly belies its age & mileage. Having covered 105k miles (less than 4. 5k miles per year average) by its 5 previous owners, with the last two having ownership for 8 years & 11 years respectively. With a high specification including heated seats, electric seats with memory function x3, wood/ leather steering wheel & gearshift, and of course the AMG engineering package with body kit & 18” deep dish AMG Alloy wheels. This coveted example of a Mercedes-Benz SL60 AMG model represents an opportunity of owning probably the lowest production SL of all time. Do call for more details, please note that these photos were taken prior to the cars’ preparation.
