This 1988 90 Station Wagon benefits from a whole host of upgrades and investment.
Mechanical improvements include:
* The 3. 5 litre has uprated Crower camshaft, Rhoads followers, single valve springs, Cloyes duplex chain gear set.
* BBW carb needles, blue V8 distributor cap, Powermax rotor arm and Powerspark leads.
* Allisport radiator and oil cooler, twin electric performance fans.
* Bespoke stainless steel twin exhaust and manifold, with custom rear mud guard/ exhaust brackets.
* L85 gear box overhauled by Ashcroft approximately 5, 500 miles ago, along with a new clutch fitted.
* Terrafirma sports dampers, suspension lowered by 1. 5 inches.
In early 2018, this Defender had a rebuild and a full repaint in its original colour, with new door seals and glazing seals.
It has also received the following upgrades:
* 18 inch Maxxtrac Manta alloys, finished in black wheel spacers and Pacer arch extensions.
* Cooper all terrain tyres.
* Colour coded wing mirrors.
* ‘Puma’ style radiator grille.
* Snow cowl and engine vent.
* NAS rear step with tow hitch and ‘Tomb Raider’ style side steps.
* Gwyn Lewis mud shields front and rear.
* Front steering guard protection.
* Crystal headlamps and quad DRL’s installed into front bumper.
* Bulkhead removal kit fitted and new head lining.
* Momo ‘Jet’ steering wheel in black leather.
* Raptor dash with Smiths dials installed (oil temperature, oil pressure, water temperature, ammeter and clock).
* Pioneer radio/ CD with Bluetooth connectivity and hands free plus new speakers and USB charging points installed.
* Pop-up sunroof.
* Two layers of sound insulation.
