Description
The HMC (Holmes Motor Company) Mk1V sports car was conceived as the successor to the Austin Healey Mk3 & was therefore designed and produced as an evolution of the original big Healey Mk3 3000. The entire production was approved and overseen by both Donald Healey & his son Geoffrey. . This stunning example is Chassis No: 166 and it is finished in the very rare Jaguar Jade Green Metallic with Antelope Leather trim. It was supplied new by the only UK concessionaire for these cars - All Electric Garages in Birmingham and it was first registered on 5th May 2002 . This is a very rare car as there were only two cars built in this colour scheme.
The stylish GPR body sits on a modern tubular chassis with all-round independent suspension and the car is powered by a 3. 9 litre fuel injection engine, 5 speed manual gearbox , disc breaks, walnut dash, smiths instruments, JVC sterio/ cd player, electric windows, black mohair soft top & tonneau, electric cooling fan and 15inch chrome wire wheels. In my ownership the last 6 years.
It has covered a genuine 13100 miles supported by MOT certs .
Service records and cherished number plate R4 HMC included
