THIS Midget gem has been dry stored for the past decade while residing with the same owner. It looks as though she bought the car and covered about 300 miles with her before locking her away. She has just emerged from hibernation this week and, although naturally enough the brakes will need going through, she starts and drives through he gears absolutely fine. She has had just three owners in the past 33 years. She is very straight and looks pretty decent underneath. Sounds well and shows good oil pressure. My finding skills (yes, I know but someone has the blow the trumpet and so it might as well be me!) will ensure that the next owner lands a true bargain buy. The cosmetic areas - and they are all genuine bits of surface rust only - are mainly to the nearside wing and the bonnet. My pictures show this. A bonny little thing with the added bonus of being a round wheel arch model.
My classic cars are motoring antiques. Please do not confuse them with your one-year-old Range Rover. This car, for example, is 49-years-old and so will have quirks and faults in there somewhere. These are not always apparent when buying and selling classics which is what I do. I do not restore them, nor do I pretend that they are concours cars. The majority of them go out as they came in, and I continue to enjoy finding more - a skill which is becoming increasingly difficult as many of you will be aware. They deserve to be taken on as "family pets" and cared for through thick and then. They don't make them any more and demand now out-strips supply.
