First registered in April 1937 this impressive four door saloon has been in the same ownership for 15 years and clearly been cherished, it starts and runs as well as it looks. Being the larger six cylinder engine it can cruise along happily keeping pace with modern traffic and the immaculate interior is a very comfy place to relax and enjoy the ride.
It really is a good looking car, with the slightly forward sloping roof line and art deco style rear lights it has a rakish, “hot rod”, very cool look about it, you will definitely arrive in style at any event.
It’s all working as intended, starts first flick hot or cold, side and headlights work, as do the wipers, horn and trafficators, it’s had some modern unobtrusive indicators fitted for safer driving on today’s roads. As for everything else the pictures and our video tell the story. Comes with the full current logbook and a handy original workshop manual.
Obviously been restored in the past and completed to a very high standard, close inspection will find some minor paint imperfections, it will leave the odd drip on your garage floor and the brakes are nothing like your 2 year old car but they work adequately (been out with 4 adults on board with no problems).
