Nice and well performing example of Alfa Romeos legendary Bertone coupe in the classic color ”Rosso Amaranto”, which especially in sunshine suits the car very well. This is the final version of Giuriaro’s masterpiece - the “Bertone”. The successor Alfetta GT was presented a year before and was meant to lift the legacy. The latest Danish owner has enjoyed the car for the past 10 years and taken very good care of it, which is evident when seeing and driving the car. The bodywork is in a very fine state with nice shut lines and the paint is still in beautiful condition. The big 2, 000 engine, which has more torque than the smaller engines revs free and nicely up through the rpm’s and combined with the lsd and the higher gear end ratio, which is exclusive for the 2000 model, you have a car which performs very well on twisty back roads but is also capable of doing a longer stretch on the high way at good speed. And you will never get bored listening to the intake sound from the double carburetors. Matched with a splendid road holding this is a real drivers car.
The interior is nice, original and well preserved and completes the picture of a nice “Pocket GT” from a golden period of Alfa Romeo. Today the situation for spare parts is really good for these models, which makes it quite reasonable and uncomplicated to run and enjoy the car.
