An exquisite, hand built grand tourer that still looks modern today. Built back in 2006, this particular V8 Vantage has recently been subject to a complete transformation which has delivered something extremely special and individual. Having covered just 27, 000 miles since new, the base Vantage was an immaculate, Tungston Grey car. Just 2 previous owners and an impeccable service history made it the perfect starting point for conversion into a CTR Vantage.
Richard of CTR, had a very specific vision for these limited build Astons; to be the ultimate road car from the Aston Martin platform including modifications to dynamics, handling and aesthetic.
The bespoke CTR green is actually an innovative, peelable paint by Logic VPC, it’s applied exactly like traditional paint, but has the desirable benefits of both protecting the original paintwork and can be peeled off when required.
This V8 Vantage is amazingly suited to road trips; longer gearing with an absolutely mesmerising visceral crescendo from 5 to 8, 000 rpm. It’s sheer beauty is hard to deny, absolute balanced perfection with just the right amount of curves and proportion. Already a modern classic, I believe this particular modified Vantage manages to make the most of the car and deliver’s on CTR’s dream of producing the ultimate Aston Martin road car.
