A beautiful little sports car with such style and panache that could only be Italian. Designed by Bertone, the project was led by an enthusiastic young Giorgetto Giugiaro, interestingly the light assemblies were shared with the early Lamborghini Muira model.
This completely original Italian example finished in the rare launch colour has clearly benefited from very careful ownership and a benign climate and has never been messed about with. Hence it has the look, driving characteristics and even smell of a tight original car that no restoration can replicate. It’s the sort of car you dream of finding in a garage in the back streets of Sicily tended to by an elderly car loving enthusiast.
An English buyer who has a thing for super original cars purchased the Fiat in Italy and imported it to these shores several years ago. Upon arrival it was sent to his garage of choice, DTR Sports Cars in Surrey for a full evaluation. Any items requiring attention were then dealt with as detailed in an invoice on file amounting to £5, 000.
A very special example of a rare and lovely convertible.
