Ford escort Mk2 1. 6 GL. Very good condition, ex South Africa not like the usual rotten UK cars. Servo brakes and rs type strut top panels, you can see in picture of engine bay. Has the bigger transmission tunnel so can accept Getrag and other 5 speed manual boxes if you want to convert. Or just enjoy as it is. Genuine car easy to get parts.
Will be UK registered soon, probably S or T reg age related plate. all fees paid.
I drove the car home from docks yesterday. No drama runs well, stops and steers ok all electrics work fine. plenty of power and kickdown works ok. Body is very good a few small dings here and there probably could do with a t cut and polish. Interior very good.
