1959 MK 2 Ford Consul for sale - this is the Deluxe model with leather seats. I have owned this car for 30 years and it was my daily drive before it was laid up in a dry garage for the last 20 years and pulled out a month back. Prior to that, the engine had been rebuilt (by a lotus / Ford mechanic) and was only just run in and I started to tackle the door bottoms as per the photos. I have a decent history file which I need to dig up. This was my first ever car that I bought when I was 17. It’s very solid and an incredible restoration candidate, very straight good panels gaps etc. For sentimental reasons, I don’t want to sell this car to be broken for spares its too complete and with the exception of the door bottoms highly original.
