1981 Triumph TR7 2. 0 Litre LTD Edition Fixed Head Coupe "Premium" , The TR7 was launched to the British public in May 1976 and was in high demand both in the UK and America , Styled by "Harris Mann" and known as the "Wedge" and the "Shape Of Things To Come" . It was powered by a 1, 998 cc eight-valve four-cylinder engine , The same basic design as the Triumph Dolomite 1850 engine, but capacity increased to 2 litres and fitted with larger carburetors, mounted in-line at the front of the car. Power is 105 bhp at 5, 500 rpm, The TR7 had a long production run with cars being built up to 1982 at the "Rover" plant at "Solihull" , Our TR7 was built December 1979 being one of only 400 built with the following specification at the time Black coachwork with Gold decals , Tan Cheque trim , Sunroof , Alloy rims in silver Silver , Sundym glass , Rear fog lights , AM/ FM Radio Cassette player , Front spoiler , 5 speed gearbox and Rear fog lights , Chassis number TPAEJ7AT/ 204520 , and marketed as the "Premium" , All information confirmed by "British Motor Heritage Trust Certificate" supplied .
