The VW Beetle is one of only half-a-dozen cars that can claim to have changed the world. With a design that can trace its roots back to the 1930s no wonder he christened the company Volkswagen, or ‘people’s car’. With a range of engines that spanned 1100cc to 1600cc, it was cheap to fuel, too, at least compared to the cost of feeding and stabling a couple of horses; if you don’t think 25mpg is especially fuel efficient I’m willing to bet.
Finished in Texas Yellow with a black interior, this wonderful 1600cc, right-hand drive Beetle was purchased by its one and only owner in 1972. Bought in Australia then moved to Germany
The underside is just as good. Completely renewed this summer all origional papers are there even the layout of the Love Stickers th new owner will get his / hers own timemachine
