BMW 520i SE Auto (E34), in Oxford Green with grey leather interior. First registered in 1995, a genuine 2 owner car that has covered a mere 58, 155miles from new. The first owner was very reluctant to let go of the vehicle following the expansion of the ULEZ, and the second owner similarly following a need for the garage space.
A full BMW service history (11 stamps) and it is evident that no expense has been spared in maintaining the vehicle meticulously. The last service was the BMW “Inspection 2” which was completed in July of this year (which included engine, diff & transmission oil, belts & pullies, and a brake fluid change). The vehicle comes complete with 3 keys, the manufacturer handbooks, every MOT and tax disc (where applicable), and the original bill of sale (including factory options).
The smooth and sweet sounding straight six M50 engine, offers a refined and rewarding driving experience, with no squeaks or rattles. The 5 speed ZF automatic gearbox operates with ease and delivers power when needed in every gear.
The stunning Oxford Green pearlescent paint encapsulates a period typical look that pairs up perfectly with the grey leather interior. All panel work remains bright, with door shuts and panel gaps as they were when they left the factory. The BBS alloys (inc full size spare) are as good as new and sit on a fresh set of Dunlop tyres (all of which have 7mm min tread).
The leather seats are in excellent condition and display no rips, tears or bolster wear. The original BMW floor mats even remain and have been cared for as though they were your carpet at home. The dashboard, door cards, roof lining and carpets are all lovely with no cracks, damage, or even mild signs of wear.
This face lifted version came with a drivers airbag, although it didn’t stop there with key features including heated seats, sun roof, rear parking sensors and air conditioning, all of which work well to this day.
These days finding a good E34 is a challenge in itself, let alone one with this level of provenance and condition. An opportunity to own an E34 that has been loved and cherished as well as this one has, is one that we suspect is unlikely to come around again….
