1988 Mk2 VW GOLF GTi 8v, 3 door with Sunroof. Genuine 7, 000 miles on new VAG engine, MOT to Nov 23 with no advisories and full MOT history. Black leather interior with Recaro front seats. Full BBS body kit, Compomotive 15" split rim alloys with new Toyo proxy tyres.
Good body shell, never welded and rust free bodywork. A good clean example throughout. Fully serviced engine & 5 speed g/ box, Hi-lift Cam, Stainless Steel exhaust, Brakes and suspension recently overhauled. Runs and drives superb. In very good mechanical order throughout. This is probably the best MK2 GTi you will find at this price and is an absolute joy to drive.
In 2013 the new engine was installed and the BBS body kit was fitted ( these are now very rare and sought after ), the car was then given a full respray in original Alpine white. I have lots of photo's of this work being carried out in the cars history folder.
New timing belt & W/ pump fitted (with receipts) summer 2022 for peace of mind as it's only covered 7k miles in the last 9 yrs.
Bad points:- The headlining sags a little at the very rear of the car (they all do). Slight wear to drivers seat bolster.
If the retro styling is not for you, the bodywork could be returned to standard very easily.
