Work just done:
- Cleaned, greased & adjusted brakes
- Engine oil (Kendel GT-1) and filter
- Transmission filter, gasket & fluid
- Rear diff gasket and oil
- Air filter
- Windscreen wiper motor repaired
- New dip stick
- Spark plugs
- New LH brake cable
I picked up this Trans Am in May. Mechanically it’s very good (I’ve had no problems). The gearbox & diff had slight seepage so I fitted new gaskets.
Requires a few things:
- Paintwork is not perfect; some spots require attention in future
- Front windscreen trim needs to be fitted (I have the trim and clips)
- The starter motor works but may need changed soon
- Water does leek into the footweels
- Chassis/ underfloor is solid, but some surface rust
