Renault R8, 1963
This is an original UK RHD Renault 8 saloon. Coming up to 60 years old now. I've had it for about 10 years I think, have done lots of welding underneath, replaced the sills, fabricated floor sections and treated with Bilt Hamber etc. It's been kept original on top though, with all the patina you could wish for.
Wheels were refurbished and tyres replaced in my ownership, also the calipers were re-manufactured.
It's been dry stored for the last 5 years at least but it does roll. Engine turns over fine but there's no spark, it was running before it was stored though.
Seats are in good condition, most of the trim bits are still there, as are floor mats, wheel trims, kick plates, etc.
Registered as a historic vehicle, tax & MOT exempt.
Located in Castle Douglas, South West Scotland, less than an hour from Carlisle.
