We are pleased to offer this lovely UK supplied RHD 1971 105 Series GT Junior JJD 75K. A car that has 2 characters, one is a performance classic road car, the other allows the owner to take part in classic hill climbs, sprints and continental speed events. It is a well known car in AROC circles, having been previously owned by the AROC Wessex Section secretary.
The car is in excellent all round condition and has been maintained regardless of cost over recent years. It was originally restored in 2000 and altered to the GTA style together with Harvey Bailey fast road suspension, Bilstein shock absorbers, GTA exhaust system, Monza fuel cap and GTA Corsa wheels. The 1300 engine was replaced with a 2 litre engine and LSD, over a 10 year period the following substantial work was carried out:-
1. Paintwork refresh 2015 & new roof lining.
2. Engine rebuild with new liners, bearings, cylinder head ported, new high competition pistons fitted, new oil pump, flywheel lightened.
3. Engine hoses replaced.
4. Replacement refurbished gearbox.
5. New 123 Ignition distributor and upgraded carburettor system fitted 2019.
6. Oil cooler fitted.
7. New Head gasket 2017
8. Oil change and new filter in last 600 miles – Oil pressure gauge fitted.
9. New starter motor & wiper motor.
10. Refurbished back axle with LSD fitted, new Callipers, discs and pads.
11. Propshaft refurbished & centre support bearing replaced Feb 2015
12. New fuel pump and new replacement lockable Monza fuel cap
13. New Radiator 2017 and fitted with secondary electric fan.
14. Wheels GTA Veloce wheels fitted with Continental performance 185/ 70/ 14H road tyres ( new tyres June 2018 )
15. New fitted carpets.
16. New air horns.
17. New Momo steering wheel.
18. Willans four point harnesses fitted.
19. Rear half Roll Cage fitted.
The majority of the above work has been carried out by ourselves or other well known Alfa Romeo Specialists.
The car is road tax and MOT exempt. There is a huge service history file with the car dating back to 1980. The car will be sold with a voluntary new MOT.
