The wealthy owner of this Daimler lived in Switzerland and kept his collection of rare classics stored in the UK . He would come to the Uk and attend various Rally:s / events. In his collection of classics he owned one of the rarest cars in the world “1” of Aston Martin GT4 Coupe "JET" Built by "Bertone" which was sold at Bonhams auction for a record £3. 2 million this shows the calibre of vehicles including the Daimler which he held in high regard . Unfortunately he passed away and it’s large history file was left in Switzerland. The Pale Primrose Yellow bodywork is in exceptional condition as is the chrome work, glass and underside of the vehicle. These vehicles are becoming even more difficult to come by particularly those kept to this standard , we believe that this is just 1 of 76 Daimler Double Six Coupes produced during the period of 1975 (407 Daimler Double Six Coupes Produced in total). Tremendous design from Sir William Lyons who insisted on a pillarless coupe being produced and was in fact one of his last projects before retirement.
