Superb 1968 jaguar 3. 4 S-Type manual with overdrive. Gunmetal grey with navy blue ambla interior. Odometer shows 72, 617 miles although this could change as the car is still used on sunny days. Bought by me in 2022 for 2 family weddings and now isn’t used enough.
There is a significant amount of receipts, manuals and history with the car including a photo album of the bare metal respray. There is also a Jaguar Daimler Heritage certificate dated 31st March 2011 showing the vehicle’s provenance and a valuation certificate for over £30k. Brief chronology as follows:
2006 – substantial overhaul.
2016 – lower engine rebuild.
2018 – replaced sills, arches & lower door panels. Both bumpers & over-riders chromed. Electric power steering professionally installed by M & C Wilkinson. Webasto sliding sunroof installed. New walnut trim, headlining, carpets and horsehair underlay by BAS International. LED lighting conversion. Bare metal respray.
2022 – Period correct radio refurbished and installed.
2023 – Handmade boot carpet in navy blue.

The only negative area is that when the respray was carried out the lacquer topcoat was applied too early and there are 2 or 3 crack lines in the lacquer which in my opinion aren’t that easy to spot at first glance. This is the only thing that prevents the car from being valued over £30k.
