Here we have something a little different that has become available again, due to the gentleman we recently sold it to having difficulty in getting in and out of it. Prior to this the Standard had come direct from the gentleman who has owned it for the past 26 years. The v5 is showing just 4 previous keepers. This is a really sound car with an excellent underside that is body colour with no structural rust issues.
It was fitted some years ago with a 1300cc Triumph engine. I have checked the engine number which begins with Dh and I believe this is from a 1300 cc Dolomite. This upgrade makes this a very spritely car to drive and it is great fun.
The history file contains many old mots, the original workshop manual and spares book.
It is fitted with an alternator and has radial tyres all round.
There are some imperfections around the bodywork but nothing serious and it still presents well. The Standard runs and drives well and would make an ideal starter classic
